What the Romanian Bus Built in Ciorogârla Looks Like

For almost three years, a bus manufacturing plant has been operating in Ciorogârla, near Bucharest, producing dozens of passenger transport vehicles annually. These buses have double the lifespan of most foreign buses, are up to 80,000 euros cheaper, yet are not desired by the authorities in Romania.

„We are producing the best city bus at the moment. It is entirely made of stainless steel and aluminum, so it will never be affected by rust. It is equipped with the world’s most advanced bus engine from Mercedes and the best gearbox from ZF Friedrichshafen AG. We use the highest quality finishes, so the lifespan of the Eurobus Diamond is at least 30 years, double that of most other buses produced abroad,” says Sinan Kilic, president of BMC Trucks & Bus.
